Please join us for Summer programs! You must live in Waldwick to register for programs. Online registration is available for the specialty programs. The links can be found below.

 

 

Series Programs:

The following programs meet weekly. By signing up for the first class, you will be registered for the entire session of classes. Online registration for weekly classes has ended, please call 201-652-5104 to inquire about space.

 

Baby Time Mondays 10:15

Songs, books and playtime for our youngest library patrons. Ages 0-18 months. Class runs 6/25-8/13.

 

Library Adventure Mondays 3:30

Stories, games, projects and snacks for grades 1-3. Class runs 6/25-8/13.

 

Play and Rhyme Tuesdays 10:15

Songs, movement and playtime for toddlers ages 18 months-36 months. Class runs 6/26-8/14.

 

Summer Stories Tuesdays 1:15

Stories, songs, felt and crafts for ages 3-6. Class runs 6/26-8/14.

 

Art Start Wednesdays 10:15

Art experience with a story for ages 2-3. Class runs 6/27-8/15. No class 7/4.

 

Music and Movement Thursdays 10:15

Music, dancing, parachute and more, with a story at the end. Ages 2-6. Class runs 6/28-8/16.

The following programs are single session classes. Please sign up for each event you plan to attend. This will help us better serve as many children as possible. Events for grades 4 and up can be found on the Teen section of the website.

Storytime at the Waldwick Pool 7/13 and 8/10 12:00

Stories, songs and a craft poolside!

Waldwick Works 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9 1:00

Join us for 2 hours of open maker space time! Project materials will vary week to week, but all weeks will include use of the button maker, 3D Pens, Snap Circuits, sewing materials and lego. Grades 1 and up. Children 3rd grade and under should be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

Reading Logs and Scavenger Hunt:

Waldwick's Greatest Hits

Town wide scavenger hunt beginning June 23! Search for records around town. Hints will be given throughout the Summer. For every 10 records found, you can get a free book! Stop in for a Waldwick Greatest Hits search log starting the 23rd!

 

Reading Logs

Starting June 23, stop in the library to pick up a reading log. Each 7 days that you read earns you a small prize or a raffle ticket. The raffle is for a basket of books and includes Amazon gift cards. Read 28 days and get a free book to keep. Read 50 days and do our challenges and you can enter a raffle for a geode kit and kereoke microphone.
